2022 Hajj: Saudi Arabia Allocates 43,000 Hajj Seats To Nigeria

The Executive secretary of Kano state pilgrims welfare Board Alhaji Mohammad Abba Danbatta says 43,000 Hajj seats have been allocated to Nigeria for this year’s Hajj operations.

Mohammad Abba Danbatta stated this while updating Journalists on the 2022 Hajj operations.

He said the National Hajj Commission has informed all the state pilgrims board of the recent development.

Mohammad Abba Danbatta explained that the slot was against the 95,000 allocations approved for the country in the previous years.

With the 43,000 allocations, NAHCON is expected to distribute the seats among the 36 states and Federal Capital Territory, FCT.”

The executive secretary maintained that the National Hajj Commission was yet to announce this year’s hajj fares, stressing that soon the final hajj fares will be Announced.

” from all indications, there will be little increase on the Hajj fares compared to that of last year, Saudi Arabia has introduced the value-added tax in all monetary transactions, as such this increase will replicate on all hajj activities ”

Mohammad Abba Danbatta added that the kano state Pilgrim’s welfare board will not relent in ensuring that the welfare of pilgrims was well attended to, aimed at having a successful Hajj operations.
