Air Force to partner AKTH in training Medical Doctors and Personnel

The Chief of Medical Services of the Nigerian Airforce, Air Commodore G Bako has canvassed for effective partnership with Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital(AKTH), in the training of their doctors and other Medical personnel.

The Chief of Medical Services stated this during a courtesy visit paid to the management of AKTH.

He said that capacity building for doctors and medical personnel is very essential.

Air commodore Bako noted that no matter the beauty of the infrastructure and it’s specialized equipment without well trained and efficient manpower it is effort in futility.

He emphasised on the importance of training to manpower development in achieving efficiency in service delivery.

He explained that the Nigerian Airforce Medical Services Division has over one hundred and seventy (170) medical doctors and forty( 40)were fellows from different medical fields.

In his remark, the Chief Medical Director Professor Abdurrahman Abba Sheshe welcome the team, promising that AKTH will provide the needed platform for the training.
