The public presentation of a book titled “The Sacked Magistrate” will come up this Saturday 30th of October, 2021.
According to a statement made available to newsmen in Ilorin by the author of the book, Chief Lamidi Tolani, _Ojeun Ogun Baale Fodian_ of Offa, the public presentation of “The Sacked Magistrate” will hold at Ilorin Golf Club, Commissioner Lodge way beginning from eleven o’clock in the morning.
Chief Tolani explained that the book is a chronicle of the way the career of a young budding magistrate was truncated by a conspiracy of a high clique in Kwara State and the titanic battle by the family of the victim to secure moral and legal justice which lasted for fourteen years from the High court, Appeal court and the Supreme court.
He listed dignitaries expected to grace the historical public presentation of the book to include the Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq, his deputy; His Excellency Mr. Kayode Alabi, the Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, his Deputy; Hon Raphael Olanrewaju Adetiba, the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Sulaiman Kawu among others.
Chief Tolani who was a former Permanent Secretary and Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development in Kwara State added that Chief Theophilus Bamgboye would be the Chairman of the occasion while Senator Suleiman Makanjuola Ajadi is the book presenter.
