The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed additional 1,479 new cases of COVID-19 across the country.
According to the NCDC update for yesterday, Lagos recorded the highest cases of 697 followed by FCT with 201, Nasarawa-80, Plateau-74 and Rivers-72.
Edo-46, Adamawa-43, Osun-39, Akwa-Ibom-35, Delta-31, Anambra-27, Oyo-24, Kano-21, Abia and Enugu 19 each.
Others are Ogun-18, Sokoto-12, Bauchi and Taraba 7 each, also Ekiti, Gombe and Imo 4 each as Bayelsa and Jigawa recorded 2 each and 1 in Zamfara State.
As at yesterday, Nigeria has 105,478 confirmed cases of COVID-19 out of which 83,830 patients were discharged and 1,405 died.
As at this morning the global update of the COVID-19 stood at over 93.5 Million cases with over 66.8 Million recovered and over 2 Million deaths.
