Suspected cultists have hacked down two persons who allegedly belong to another rival group in the early hours of today around Adualere area of Ilorin.
The Kwara State Police Spokesperson, Mr Ajayi Okasanmi who confirmed this in a statement says efforts are in top gear to get perpetrators of the heinous crime arrested.
According to him, the Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Bagega has directed Divisional Police Officers to activate aggressive patrol while law abiding citizens are advised to go about their lawful business.
Mr Okasanmi however added that calm had since been restored to Adualere area.
