Muslims and well to do individuals have been advised to engage in highly rewardable acts in the course of Allah.
This was contained in a statement made available by Imam Gambari Mosque Reconstruction Committee under the Chairmanship of retired Justice Idris Abdulllahi Haroon.
The statement signed by Secretary of the Committee, Alhaji Isiaka Amosa Al-ameen, explains that acts such as building of Mosques, digging of well and planting of trees has high and ceaseless rewards even when one is no more on earth.
According to the committee, Imam Gambari Mosque serves as centre of learning and Tafsir during Ramadan and Eid days and it accommodates teeming Muslim congregations for more than two centuries.
However, the Mosque has not passed through any significant architectural modification to reflect its historical status until 2018 during its annual Ramadan Tafsir when the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari approved its reconstruction to meet the modern Standard in which Two Hundred and Fifty Million Naira was the estimated for the project.
