The need for well to do individuals to always assist in the development of their communities has been emphasized.
Chief Imam of Idofian, Imam Tohir Ahmad stated this at the inauguration of motorized borehole built by the African Democratic Congress, ADC candidate for Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun Federal Constituency, Honorable Gbenga Oyekunle Power in Idofian community.
Imam Tohir who noted that Almighty Allah promised that anyone who gives others water to drink will never be thirsty on the day of judgement, encouraged other wealthy people in the society to emulate Gbenga Power’s footsteps.
“Almighty Allah will reward anyone who gives others water, even after death such a person will be granted blessed water in Aljanatu firdaus”.
Also, Reverend Christopher Omoloye said the Holy Bible admonished people to distribute water to others as such person can never be poor.
“the Bible says anyone who gives others water will never be poor throughout his/her lifetime “.
In a remark, the ADC candidate for Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun Federal Constituency, Hounourable Gbenga Power explained that he always derived joy and satisfaction doing good in the society.
“I commission this water with the name of God, if we want to enjoy more of getting water in every corner of Idofian, remember to cast your vote for me come February 25th 2023”.
According to him, motorized borehole water will not remain one in every community but shall be accessible in different corners of each Town if people of Ifelodun, Oyun and Offa Constituency vote him into the Federal House of Representatives on February 25th 2023.
