The immediate past president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has described president Muhammadu Buhari as a visionary leader that wants the best for the country.
Jonathan stated this at the Independence Day Celebration on Thursday.
Jonathan said alot of people may be suprised at his recent closeness with the president having lost to him at the 2015 general elections.
Jonathan while addressing the press shortly after the ceremony said:
“Many are surprised by my sudden friendship with President Buhari, that’s because I love associating myself with Great Minds and Learn from them too, and President Buhari is one of such minds. He is indeed A Visionary Leader who only wants to make an impact to better the system.”
