1. Buhari, the arrow head of the Federal Government is presently rounding off his government.
2. He doesn’t have anything on the tenterhook that will make him see ASUU’s demands as crucial unlike someone who wants a return ticket or has just commenced his tenure (1st or 2nd).
3. The said government is even broke, for whoever cares to know, FG has been borrowing money in recent times to pay workers salary,
let alone adding extra demands.
4. Election is approaching, government hardly hears anything at point like this, except if it’s pivotal to their return ticket and Baba is not returning.
5. The strike should have been suspended and made a fight to finish with the next government, that will have many things at stake to negotiate for.
6. Unfortunately, ASUU didn’t read Buhari’s countenances. The most important thing to him now is to hand over successfully next year and return to his farm in Daura, indeed, he has done his best for Nigeria.
7. Definitely ASUU’s demands are germane and will surely be achieved soon but not before 2023. Hence there’s no need to starve themselves now as salaries will be paused.
