Ilorin Emirate Durbar Committee Announces New Venue

A statement by the committee’s chairman, Engr. Sulaiman Oba Yahaya Alapansanpa also assured all invited guests of maximum security all through and after the event.

The statement partly reads “The Chairman, Ilorin Emirate Durbar Committee, Engineer Sulaiman Yahaya Alapansapa, the Danmasani of Ilorin wish to announce on behalf of the Emir of Ilorin, Maimataba Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR that the 2021 Durbar event will now hold at the front yard of the Emirs palace and not the Kwara State Stadium Complex as earlier announced.

“All inconveniences the change in venue of the event might have caused all our invited guests is highly regretted.

“We want to assure all invited guests of adequate security before, during and after the event.

“All Covid-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to hence the need for all those coming for the event to put on their nose masks”.
