JIGAWA: NAWOJ Advocates Improve Girl-child Education

As part of effort to promote girls child education the Nigeria Association of Women Journalist (NAWOJ) Jigawa state chapter in collaboration with state ministry of education science and technology organised first female competition.

Speaking at the event, the state chairperson of NAWOJ Hajiya Hauwa Ibrahim Ladan said, the aims is to groom the young girls for better future of the state.

She explained that, 54 young female participated in the competition two from each local government across the state.

Hajiya Hauwa said, educating female is just like educating the whole family, assured more commitment towards promoting lives of women.
