Kano: Police Arrest Kidnappers syndicate

The Kano state police Command says it has arrested over one hundred suspects for committing various criminal offences in the last two weeks in the state.

The state commissioner of police Sama’ila Dikko stated this while briefing journalist at the headquarters of Kano police command .

He said twenty seven people were arrested for alleged Armed Robbery,fourteen where arrested for alleged kidnapping while six were suspected Fraudstars.

The commissioner explained that
Three were suspected Drug Dealers
Five (5) Motor Vehicle Thieves
And Forty Six (46) were Alleged Thugs (‘Yan Daba) .

CP Sama’ila Dikko maintained that Among the items recoverd includes Six (6) Rifles including two 92) AK-47 Rifles were ,Sixteen (16) Motor Vehicles.
Three (3) Tricycles.
Nine (9) Motorcycles.
Thirty Six (36) Knives.

Others were One Hundred and Thirty (130) Parcels of Dried Leaves suspected to be Indiana Hemp valued. Two Million Six Hundred Thousand Naira (N2,600,000.00K).
Fifty Seven (57) Cartons of Expired Diclofenac Tablets.
Hi-sense Television.

CP Sama’ila Dikko appreciated the efforts of Kano State Government, the good people of the State, other Security agencies, the Media, Special Constabularies, Vigilante Groups.

He noted that immediately the command completes it’s investigation the suspects would be Charged to court.

CP Sama’ila Dikko warned criminals to desist from their unlawful acts or face the Wrath of the Law.
