Schools in Kwara State have been urged to adhere strictly to COVID 19 safety protocols.
Reading the resolutions, the Speaker, Engineer Yakubu Danlad-Salihu implored the state government to sanction any school that indulges in overcrowding the pupils and students in school buses.
Engineer Danladi-Salihu admonished parents and guardians to equip their children and wards with basic safety tips on how to stay safe while in school.
The lawmakers in their various contributions called on public and private school owners to mandate use of facemasks, hand sanitizer and ensure social distance in classrooms to protect the pupils and students against spread of the virus.
