The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has blamed the recent security breach in Kwara State to activities of cultists.
State PRO, Kwara NSCDC, Olasunkanmi Ayeni confirmed this to Maxilensnews
He noted that there were attack and counter-attack in Obo road and Maraba area of Ilorin metropolis in which one popular cultists (Khalifa) was killed by rival cult members on Monday.
According to Ayeni, cultists, hoodlums and politicians have hijacked the EndSARS Protests which have unleashed mayhem on innocent citizens and trouble makers alike, hence the need to halt the protests and embrace fruitful dialogue.
He appealed to parents and guardians to warn their subjects not to allow anyone lure them into violence under the guise of protests.
On the human head that was found by the Corps at the Post Office area, earlier today, the Civil Defence PRO told Maxilensnews that, the head is a dismembered part of a notorious cultists, nicknamed Lucifer.
“Investigation is ongoing to unravel the circumstances surrounding the heinous act”, Ayeni said.
