Lagos Security Update: Tinubu , Sanwo-Olu call for calm as mobs razed Government’s property

The commercial hub of Nigeria, Lagos has witnessed unprecedented chaos in recent time following civil unrest caused by Hoodlums who hijacked the peaceful Protest by Nigerian youth.

Headquarters of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Marina Street, Lagos has been set on fire by the angry mobs.

TV Continental owned by APC stalwart Bola Tinubu, is also on fire.

The house of Lagos State Governor,
Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s mother at Surulere has been set ablaze by unidentified persons.

Oba of Lagos palace has also been attacked.

Also, The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) are being attacked and set ablaze at Oyingbo area of Lagos, Maxilensnews gathered.

Details of how the chaos happened are yet to be unraveled but sources said the facilities were set ablaze as a tit for tat on the Federal Government of Nigeria for deploying soldiers to attack protesters at Lekki Toll Gate.

Meanwhile, Lagos Political Godfather, Bola Tinubu and the state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu have appealed to residents to remain calm and shun any act capable of aggravating the carnage.
