National Institute For Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS has stated its resolve to train young Nigerians on the practice of legislation and democratic studies. DG of the institute, Prof. Abubakar Sulaiman represented by Director, Department of Economic in the institute Prof. Peter Shiya said the objective of the organizing the Quiz Competition was to provide continued Education on the Legislature and to broaden knowledge of the students and youths on the history, practice and procedures of the legislature.
“This 8th edition of the competition is
therefore the second time the
competition is holding at the
national level with the North-west edition holding in Kano.
The competition will also stimulate the interest of the youngsters in
politics and make them more
proactive in matters relating
to the legislature and
democracy.”
