The race for the stool of Emir of of Zazzau has commenced with 8 princes showing interest to succeed the late Emir, Alhaji Shehu Idris.
Maxilensnews reliably confirmed, that 8 Zazzau’s Princes have submitted applications to the council of kingmakers in the kingdom.
They are; Wamban Zazzau, Alhaji Abdulkareem Aminu ; Iyan Zazzau, Alhaji Bashar Aminu; Dangaladiman Zazzau, Alhaji Aminu Idris and Turakin Zazzau, Alhaji Aminu Shehu Idris.
Others are Ciroman Zazzau, Alhaji Sa’idu Mailafiya; Barden Kudun Zazzau, Alhaji Hassan Tijjani; Magajin Garin Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli and Yariman Zazzau, Alhaji Munir Jafaru.
“The process has been communicated to the Kaduna State Government, it’s so expected that the selection process is going to be based on thorough scrutiny without prejudice considering the known position of the State Governor for merit,” a resident told Maxilensnews.
