As Ramadan 1443 AH fast commences the world over, the Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has enjoined Muslims in the state and across Nigeria to maximize the benefits of the Holy month and pray for the country to overcome challenges bedeviling the country.
Engr. Danladi-Salihu in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sheu Abdulkadir Yusuf also asks Muslims to remember the less privileged members of the society in line with the teachings and lessons of the sacred month.
“I congratulate my brothers and sisters in the state and across the country as we begin Ramadan fast 1443AH. The month of Ramadan presents to us golden opportunity for spiritual rejuvenation, moral fortitude, brotherhood, and unity among others. We must therefore, seize the auspicious moment to pray for ourselves, family, Kwara State, and Nigeria in general for us to overcome our various challenges”
“It is my prayer that Allah grants us all successful completion of the holy month”.
