The Ag Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Kwara State Command DCC Jonah Gabriel has ordered the deployment of 2000 personnel of the corps across the state to ensure a hitch-free Eid-Kabir celebration.
The Commandant felicitates with His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Royal Highness, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin and all Muslim faithful in the state for witnessing another Eid-kabir celebration.
The Ag Commandant stated that the personnel are strategically deployed to secure lives and properties of kwarans before, during and after the celebration.
He appealed to all Kwarans to be Vigilant and report any suspicious movement around them to the security agents. He urged them to be peaceful and moderate in their celebration so as not to give room for any security breach. He enjoined parents to caution their Children not to exhibit any overzealousness in their celebration because the corps will not entertain any act that is capable of jeopardising the security of the state.
He wished all kwarans a peaceful and prosperous eid-kabir celebration.
