STUDENTS CHARGED TO BE GOOD AMBASSADORS OF THEIR ALMA MATER

Sudents of Arabic Schools have been advised to remain focused on Arabic Education and be of good conduct to contribute to the betterment of the Society.

This was part of the message delivered by Alhaji AbdulRazaq Arema, the Principal of Darul Ulum, Isale Koto, Ilorin at the send forth programme organized by the school for its graduating students.

Alhaji Arema implored the outgoing students to have the fear of Allah in minds, be kind to their parents and all those that contributed towards their academic success.

He also charged them to be good ambassadors of the school and emulate the past students of Darul Ulum whom have been flourishing in different areas of life.

 

In a speech, the Chairman of Darul Ulum alumni, youth wing, Dr. AbdulRafih Asalejo represented by Dr. AbdulFattahi Olanru explained that the send forth was to present prizes to best students of the school which would encourage other students to be more focused and dedicated to the study of Arabic and Islamic studies as they can attain the greatness in life through the study of Arabic education.

 

The overall best student of the year, Fodilullahi AbdulRazaq received one hundred thousand naira from Justice Ahmad Olarewaju Belgore while the best student of Idadiyyah, Abdullahi Ayomide recieved twenty thousand naira donated by former grand Kadi, Kwara State Sharia Court of Appeal, Justice Abdul Kadir Ola.

In his reaction, the over all best student in the school, Fodilullahi AbdulRazaq expressed appreciation over the cash prize and promised not to relent his efforts while further his study at other schools of higher learning.

The prize giving was powered by the prize includes Cash donations, Arabic text books and certificates of Excellence.

The other students that received cash and Arabic text books prizes are Toyyib Zakariyyah, AbdulMujib Mashood, AbdulKadir AbdulRahman, Zainab Sulyman and Fatimah Ayyub.

The programme, supported by Darul Ulum alumni Association, youth wing, had in attendance teachers of Darul Ulum and many members of Darul Ulum alumni Association, youth wing.

The Alumni ( youth wing) thanked all the imams, the donors, teachers of the School as well as the elder Alumni of Darul Ulum for their support towards the success of the programme.
