The Adamawa Woman in Satanic Mold, Her Wicked Son, and their Ignorance of Islam.
I write with pain. I am in pain. I am uneasy and unsettled. It rankles my being. It ruffles my mood. I lose my composure. I am off balance. I cried; but my tears are drained out of shock, gravity, and horridness of the atrocity. The atrocity is sapping.
I momentarily regretted being a human due to the atrocities committed by humans. Yet, having realized that I was created, not by myself, but by the Creator of humans, I regretted my momentary regret of being a human. No human should regret being a human for the atrocities of humans against humans.
Why am I lamenting? It is about a newborn baby found alive two days after it was dumped in an abandoned toilet reportedly by her father in Adamawa State. It was reported that the baby, whose umbilical cord was yet to be severed was rescued by a passer-by who heard its cry from an abandoned toilet at Government Day Secondary School (GDSS), Dumne in the Song Local Government Area of the state.
The menace of babies’ abandonment is not new—it happens all over Nigeria. It, in most cases, results from illicit sexual relationships which end up in pregnancy. This is what they call unwanted pregnancy by unprepared mothers. Such ‘mothers’ are generally known for their shamelessness and immorality. They are disgrace to womanhood. If you are not prepared for motherhood, why should you groan in pleasure? Why should you willingly bring to life a being you have hatred for and towards whom you can only be savagely atrocious?
Yes! Atrocity towards unwanted babies occurs almost on daily basis in Nigeria. This is serious and must be utterly condemned. However, this very case of throw-away-baby in Adamawa State deserves even more condemnation. For it has a tinge of religious bigotry. Is bigotry even the right word? It is a combination of bigotry, unnatural ignorance, cold-heartedness, wickedness of savage proportion, and commitment to Satanism. Though Satan might not cringe at the atrocity; he will definitely cringe at the justification for the atrocity.
What is it? How did it happen? And why must it be severely condemned? We learned, as reported, that the infant was thrown away by its father on the order of the paternal grandmother. She (the grandmother) claimed that it is forbidden for her son (the father of the infant) to raise a child born by a non-Muslim mother. This justification must be cringing even to Satan. That is to say the father of the newborn baby is a Muslim while the mother a Christian. In blind and stupid obedience to his mother, the useless and conscienceless ‘Muslim’ father threw away the baby. Of course, the baby, in that condition, is not expected to survive. But God, in His infinite mercy, rescued the baby through the agency of a passer-by.
They committed this atrocity against the innocent baby in the name of religion. Not because they are religious, but because they are foot soldiers of Satan. This is not Islam. It is also not any celestial religion. It is Satanism—a religion that whispers and inculcates evil into them to criminalize the innocent baby and punish it for an offence that never existed and which it never committed.
The default in Islamic theology is that every baby is born innocent—irrespective of who the parents are. In other word, the circumstance of birth of a baby does not in anyway impact on its innocence and sinlessness. Be it be born by hardened criminals, by a staunch enemy of God, by a terrorist, by full time prostitute, or as a result of rape, forced marriage, illicit intimacy and whatnot; the child remains sinless and innocent.
A child, having being born an innocent, though may later be corrupted by lascivious and amoral parents or as a result of growing up in a corrupt environment. But how on earth will someone choose to kill his own baby because it was born by a Christian mother! Where was that old bitch when her Muslim son was enjoying his Christian girl friend? Why are some people so wicked as if the blood of humanity never flows in them? This witch and her useless son should be made to face the wrath of the law. They must be made to groan in excruciating pain. They should be made to realize that soul has never been created, and will never be created, by anyone but God. How dare they attempt to terminate a soul created by God without the approval of God? They must dance to the jarring music of the law.
This old woman, while groaning under the wrath of the law, should be made to understand that her ‘Muslim’ son can marry her Christian girl friend (all other things being equal). She should be made to realize that that baby, even if born out of wedlock to a Christian mother, has every right to live and to be catered for under the Islamic law.
She should be taught that in Islam every human being, irrespective of religion and color, deserves some dignity. The dignity of having a blood flowing in them. The dignity of being genetically traced to the same parents (Adam and Eve). And, in the case of this little baby, the dignity of being innocent. I learnt the criminal grandmother is already in police custody; her criminal son still at large. Anyone with information of his whereabouts should please help. That will be doing the wok of God.
The wheel of justice should be accelerated to quickly run its course in respect to these criminals. Their crime is not only limited to their attempt to callously get rid of this baby. They also hurt the feeling, the emotion, and the mood of a countless number of couples who are looking up to God to answer their prayers. What many are looking for, these ungrateful criminals have it gratis; and yet do not value it. What an irony! If this Adamawa grandmother is not in a satanic mold, I don’t know who is.
In conclusion, though the ulema are trying, there is a need, on their part, to embark on serious enlightenment campaign, especially in localities that are far away from towns and cities. It is not enough to concentrate in major cities, there are a lot of work to be done in remote localities. People like this wicked woman should be made to know that everything about Islam is beautiful. Islam and beauty are synonyms. In fact, in the absence of clerics who could be asked whether something is permissible or impermissible in Islam, the fact that an act is ugly should intuitively guide you to the conclusion that it is not Islamic. Islam is entirely beautiful. Such an ugly act can never be Islamic. We ask Allah to make this little baby grow in good health. May he be righteous and guided. O Allah! Ignorance is dangerous and killing, please increase us in beneficial knowledge.
