A frontline political leader and one of the lieutenants of Saraki dynasty in Kwara state, Engineer Musa Yeketi has officially
defected to the All Progressives Congress.

The former PDP stalwart said his decision to leave the PDP for the APC was impelled by the clamour and advise from his constituents.

Engineer Yeketi stated this in his speech titled “I thought I’m no longer politically valuable” at his Ogidi residence immediately after the completion of marital rites of his daughter.

He said” while I remain loyal to the late Olusola Saraki, his son Dr. Bukola Saraki and daughter Gbemisola Saraki were like good brother and sister to me, but I wouldn’t be fair to my esteemed followers and lovers if I fail to seize this golden opportunity of my daughter’s wedding, and the presence of these dignitaries, especially his Excellency, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to state few reasons for my decision to leave PDP.”

The new APC entrant noted that, amidst numerous allegations and name calling that he’s not loyal and relevant in politics, he’s amazed that his old allies were still appealing to him not to leave the PDP.

He noted that his political experience and the overwhelming achievements of Governor Abdulrazaq were the flashlights in his latest decision.

Engineer Yeketi also called on the people of his immediate constituency in Asa Local Government to rally round Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in his resolve to give the state a facelift.

Engineer Yeketi was a commissioner under Ex-Gov Abdufatah Ahmed, he also served as Chairman Board of Kwara State Polytechnic.
