The former Governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu has advised the Presidential Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to waste his time and money vieing for the forthcoming presidential election. He stated this due to the current political situation in the country.
While speaking during an exclusive interview on Channels TV, Babangida Aliyu noted that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a very good friend of his but it would have been good for him if he had supported a young candidate like the Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi. Speaking further, he made it known that the outburst of Tinubu in Ogun State where he said it was his turn was unnecessary, adding that Nigeria is not anybody’s personal affair. “Yemi Osinbajo would have been a perfect candidate for the APC because he has learnt from his boss, Muhammadu Buhari”, he said.
