A special prayer was today held at the palace of the Emir of Ilorin to celebrate his 25th coronation anniversary.
The Prayer was at the instance of the Ilorin Emirate indigene, home and abroad.
The Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheik Dr. Muhammad Salihu Bashir led other ulamas in the prayer.
The Chief Imam described the reign of Emir Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari as peaceful, full of growth and development and prayed Allah to continue to preserve the Emir on goodness.
The occasion was honoured by traditional rulers and other important dignitaries.
Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari was appointed the 11th Emir of Ilorin on 11th November 1995 by the then military administrator of Kwara State Group Captain Baba Adamu Iyam
