As part of Christmas activities to put smile on the faces of less privileged in the society, a Non Governmental Organisation, Sustainable Goals Achievers has celebrated Christmas Carol with the children of Hope Orphanage Idofian in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara.

Founder of the organisation, Mr Isaac Adeleye said the carol was organised for the children to put smile on their faces and give them sense of belonging.

Mr Isaac Adeleye, who explained that part of the aims of the NGO was to contribute to the wellbeing of the people, appealed to the wealthy individuals and organisations to imbibe the habit of helping the needy.

Also a member of NGO and President, Students Union Government, University of Ilorin, Comrade Wisdom Oluwaseun called on the public to always render assistance to the orphans in their locality to achieve their dreams of becoming great.

In brief lecture, Mr Michael Ejire advised the children to always endeavour to increase themselves intellectually, physically, spiritually and socially.

The Caregiver at the orphanage, Mrs Ronke Babagbemi appreciated the Sustainable Goals Achievers for the Christmas carol and called on others to emulate them.

Some of children who spoke with our correspondent Abdullah Ahmed, expressed joy over the celebration and prayed God to enrich and uphold the NGO.

The Sustainable Goals Achievers with the slogan Achieving for Humanity also donated food items, confectioneries and detergents to the Hope Orphanage Idofian.
