My partner narrated an incident that took place during her study at one of the higher institutions in Kwara, Offa precisely. It was the case of a lecturer who used to be a serial adulterer. Always desperate to taste every female student of his choice. Though he was employed as a mathematics lecturer he could hardly solve simple mathematical problems. What he knows better is the formula to manipulate young girls and solve equations of Zina (fornication). Unfortunately on a ‘bad day devil drank water’, his filthy calculations betrayed him and the cold room blew hot 🔥.
It happened that the Lecturer proposed friendship to a favourite female student who was equally a “runz girl” while the latter didn’t show interest in him. But after severe persistence, the girl eventually succumbed to pressure to teach him a lesson. Gradually, the relationship went friendly till the moment of the first match, if it ever took place.
The “runz girl” lives in a rented apartment in an off-campus building with fellow students from the same institution. This same residence was chosen as the venue for the sex match, meaning; the girl was “home” (she has home advantage) while the lecturer was “away”. When Mr. Lecturer came in, he was made to relax and feel at home till he completely discarded his clothing except for his boxer pant. Remember that men are naturally weak when it comes to having sex, Allah affirms this in the Qur’an (Q4:28). This is why smart wives and concubines would easily manipulate men during sex sessions to get whatever they want.
Back to the storyline… After the lecturer was made comfortable and secured by his honourable wicked guest, what happened next was too shocking to believe. The girl said to him: “excuse me, sir, let me get some stuff to entertain you, I’ll be back soonest”. While Mr lecturer was preparing a tutorial on his student’s mattress, the smart girl left the room and locked the door from outside. Mr lecturer continued to wait for his host’s return with items of refreshment… 1 hour passed! 2 hours! 3 hours! 4! 5!…. until he became convinced that ‘things fall apart’. The girl had travelled to Ilorin and left the victim inside her room at Offa.
When Mr lecturer accepted his faith and felt disappointed about the failed match, he came to realize his clothes were also missing, only left with the host’s dresses inside the room. When he approached the door to find out what was going on, he discovered the door was locked from outside. At this juncture, he realized the bone he swallowed was bigger than his throat.
But what should he do? Is it to die of hunger in solitary confinement or to sacrifice his dignity for freedom?
After several thoughts and permutations, Mr lecturer had to bury his pride and seek rescue from the neighbouring students. He yelled for help in breaking the door open, at least to escape from the artificial prison. When the door was opened for him to come out, the students viewed their naked lecturer drowned in sweat while ignominy shines on his face. Some were able to take his snapshots whether for a documentary or future testimony. Instead of looking into their eyes and responding to queries, he swiftly jumped in his car and drove away. Perhaps he branched a boutique to get some clothes to wear or reached home in boxer, only Allah can tell.
Hmmm, do you think this matter would ever end there? Never! Not even in our corrupt educational institutions where lecturers authoritatively demand money for marks and sex for grades. Alas! The female student was eventually rusticated from the school, sacrificing her tuition (and future) to discipline an undisciplined lecturer.
It was said that the case later reached the school management, but was disputed and swept under the carpet. The institution claimed in support of their client, that the photo shots did not depict the lecturer’s front view, only the back view was captured. What do you expect from syndicates and corrupt folks? The one who should have been sacked was vindicated in the end and allowed to victimize his noble dream girl. Sadly, the girl was withdrawn (expelled) from the institution.
This is one case out of a million similar cases. Although there are testimonies of cases won by victims of sexual harassment at our higher institutions, yet, the students are usually made to suffer the consequences. I’m particularly disappointed when I hear about Muslim lecturers partaking in this shameful malpractice. How would you want fellow lecturers to treat your wives 2 daughters in higher institutions? Many among those Doctors (PhD holders) and Professors are morally bankrupt, they can sleep with anything in skirt. Despite what happened to the lecturer in this report, would he ever change and abandon his evil path? Allah says:
وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَدْنَىٰ دُونَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَكْبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
“And verily, We will make them taste of the near torment (i.e the torment in the life of this world) before the supreme torment (in the Hereafter), so that they may (repent and) return.” [Surah As-Sajdah (32): 21]
