Former Governor of Osun state, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has warned the immediate past Governor, Rauf Aregbesola and Minister of Interior, not to disturb Governor Adegboyega Oyetola in his Administration.

Aregbesola and Oyetola are said to be at loggerheads over control of the APC political structure in the state.

There has been an alleged cold war between the minister and the governor with some unconfirmed reports stating that Aregbesola is eager to dictate to the governor, hence the genesis of the disagreement.

The tension between both former allies degenerated recently after some reports hinted that Aregbesola plans to hold a political programme coincidental to Oyetola’s second-anniversary celebrations on Friday, November 27.

Former Governor Oyinlola has asked Aregbesola to allow the governor to concentrate on his duties, saying he never troubled the minister when he succeeded him in office.

Prince Oyinlola, in a statement said Aregbesola’s explanation that he was coming to the state to engage with the people on the #EndSARS crisis as directed by President Muhammadu Buhari was in order.

He, however, advised that the minister should push his event to another day so as not to heighten the political tension in the state.
