Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) after dumping the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Top members of the ruling party, including governors and senators were at Government House, Calabar, where the defection was finalised.
The Governor announced his defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after meeting with Governor Badaru, Buni, Atiku Bagudu, H.E Hope Ozodinma of Imo state ,Hon minister Petrolium resources Timipre Sylva and other top government officials.
