Tsaragi Progressive Youth has lauded the appointment of Hon. Abubakar Saddiq Buhari popularly dubbed as Buhariofkwara by the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as a Commissioner-Nominee of the State Government.
The group also noted that the appointment, when finally confirmed and inaugurated would make Buhariofkwara the youngest Commissioner in the whole of Nigeria.
The current youngest Commissioner in Nigeria is Oyo State’s Hon Seun Fakorede who clocked 30 on the 2nd of May this year.
In a statement issued by the Ag. Coordinator of Tsaragi Progressive Youth (TPY), the group opines that the nomination of Buhariofkwara further confirms Mallam AbdulRazaq as Governor who did not only mean well for the state but also the youth constituency judging by his deliberate and consistent efforts and interest geared towards youth empowerment and inclusion in government.
“We received the cheering news of the nomination of one of the Kwara most brilliant, vibrant, vocal, and valor youth, Hon Abubakar Saddiq Buhari as a Commissioner-nominee with elation, indeed the Kwara State Governor has made another good choice of selection and the entire Kwara youth would repay him with thousands of votes in 2023 for choosing one of their own”
“Armed with cognate experience and exposure in governance and administration as well as relevant skills, Saddiq Buhari is coming on board at this critical period to become the youngest Commissioner in the whole of Nigeria, this is another thumb up for our dynamic and amiable Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq who’s unapologetically youth-centric, the Governor is now reputed for having youngest Commissioner in his cabinet because when finally confirmed and subsequently inaugurated, the nominee would be in his late 20s”
“The Governor should be rest assured that with the appointment of Hon Buhariofkwara, he has made a good choice and he would not be disappointed, Insha Allah. With his wide acceptance and popularity coupled with his vibrancy and command of respect and ‘cult’ following in the youths constituency, the nominee would hit the ground running by mobilizing and galvanizing support for the Governor and the party anytime he’s called to do so”
