Groups Honour First Nigeria Professor of Choreography

The West African Civil Society Congress in synergy with Transparency Advocacy For Development Initiative (TADI) have honored Professor Rasaq Ojo Bakare, the Honourable Commissioner for Arts,Culture and Tourism Ekiti State with a Certificate of Credence in recognition of his exemplary leadership and dexterity as an Academia in Politics vis–a-vis his futuristic aspirations to build capacity for National development.

This is contained in a statement issued by TADI in Lagos.

According to the Initiative, the commendation is an encomium for the first Professor of Choreography in Nigeria and a national prospect to preserve Nigeria’s cultural heritage who had won numerous laurels both in Nigeria and in diaspora.

The Group expressed confidence that Professor Bakare would steer the emerging field to an enviable status
