Communique issued by Hijrah Organization of Nigeria after her Monthly Meeting held on Sunday 25th February 2024 at late justice Orire’s house GRA Ilorin, Kwara State.
The Hijrah Organization of Nigeria has commended the Decision of NAFDAC on the total ban of Sachets alcoholic drinks across the country, this it is believed will certainly revive the life style of our youth who have been addicted to alcoholic drinks which had ruined many lives of both youth and some Elders in the country. The group therefore called on National Assembly not to revert the banned product as alcoholic drinks has been having negative effects on the youth across the country.
The Hijrah Organization of Nigeria also called the attention of National Assembly to take urgent step by banning gambling in various types whether online or local gambling such as Naira bet site, sport betting and other websites which had cost Nigerian youth their savings. The organisation warns that gambling is against the dictate of Almighty Allah and any society found to be proud of it may not receive the blessings of Allah. We therefore appeal to national assembly to do the needful in other to receive the blessings of Allah.
More importantly, the organisation call on parents, guidance, community leaders, religious leaders, political leaders, government officials and traditional rulers to stand firm and say no to homosexual in every segment in Nigeria. Moreover the practice is unacceptable among the two common religions in Nigeria ( Islam and Christian). The Hijrah Organization of Nigeria argues that the practice of homosexual is detrimental to culture and traditions and not in conformity with true nature of procreation and preserving generation of mankind.
