Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has said that some professors now get 8 thousand Naira as salary since the introduction of IPPIS.
President of ASUU, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi disclosed this while featuring on a Channels Television programme, Thursday.
According to him, members of ASUU now had their salaries cut by between 50 and 70 per cent, such that some professors got N8,000 as salary for some months.
The development form one of the basis for rejecting the IPPIS as a salary payment platform for university lecturers.
