The Kwara State House of Assembly has received a message on the Twenty Twenty-three revised supplementary budget estimate from Governor AbdulRahmam AbdulRazaq for consideration and approval.
Reading the Governor’s message during plenary, the Speaker Engineer Yakubu Danlad-Salihu gave a breakdown of the supplementary estimate as Two Hundred and Thirty-nine point Eight billion naira, as against the Twenty Twenty-three estimate which was One Hundred and Eighty-Eight point Eight billion naira, representing a Twenty Seven percent increase.
The revised budget was thereafter laid before the House by the leader, Abdulkadir Magaji representing Ilorin Central Constituency while further legislative action on it is to take place tomorrow.
