KWARA NORTH IS YOUR HOME, SPEAKER RE-ASSURES GOV ABDULRAZAQ
Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has reassured Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of the maximum and unshakeable support and cooperation of the entire people of Kwara North, saying that his government breathed life back into the Northern part of the State.
Engr. Danladi-Salihu who gave the reassurance while playing host to Mallam AbdulRazaq at the palace of the Emir of Okuta, His Royal Highness, Abubakar Idris, Serobetete II, noted that from the time immemorial, no Governor has ever done what Mallam AbdulRazaq has and is doing for the entire people of Kwara North
“On behalf of Okuta Kingdom, Baruten Local Government and the good people of Kwara North, and with a very deep sense of responsibility, I congratulate and thank Your Excellency on your second anniversary, we also appreciate all your good works which have made the Northern part of our state to once again enjoy dividends of democracy especially in the areas of basic amenities which have hitherto eluded us”.
“That you refused to mark your impactful second anniversary in office from your comfort zone and still come to pay homage to our Royal Fathers speaks a lot about your uniqueness, humility, simplicity and the high regards you have for the traditional institution”
“I want to, on behalf of our people, re-assure you of our unflinching and continuous support because you have worked very hard to deserve it, from Okuta FM which is over ninety per cent completed,
comprehensive renovation of Okuta General Hospital which is also over eighty per cent completed to the just concluded employment of our youths into SUBEB, TESCOM, Community Policing, Political appointments which Okuta has the highest number of slots, as well as infrastructural projects which we have never seen before”
Also, at the tenth coronation anniversary of the Emir of Yashikira, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Umar Sariki Idris which the Governor AbdulRazaq purposely came to grace, the Speaker once again appreciated the many giant strides of His Excellency in Baruten and Kwara North, stressing that the people of the region would reciprocate the good works with massive support in 2023.
The Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq while speaking at the palace of the Emir of Okuta and at the tenth coronation ceremony of the Emir of Yashikira appreciated the traditional rulers’ cooperation with the government especially in the area of security and assured of his administration’s support for the traditional institution and the determination to continue to execute more life-changing projects across the State.
The two Emirs, in their separate remarks, acknowledged and praised the Governor for the good job across the State especially in Kwara North and Pledged their continued support with the government.
