The management of Kwara State University, KWASU Malete, has declared one week mourning period over the death of its Vice Chancellor, Professor Muhammed Mustapha-Akanbi.
This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen this morning by Registrar of the University, Dr Kikelomo Salle.
The statement indicates that all activities on the school campuses have suspended from today Monday 21st November to Monday to 27th.
It implored members of the public to pray for the family of the deceased and the University community.
Professor Muhammed Mustapha-Akanbi died yesterday after a protracted illness.
