Nigeria Police Force Organizes First Qur’an Recitation Competition

The Nigeria Police Force Kano state command has organized its first Quran Recitation Competition among for its officers.

The competition was held at Bompai Headquarters of the Nigeria police.

Judges presided over the recitation in which senior and junior police officer presented themselves before the audience to recite what they’ve memorized from the Qur’an.

The two day recitation competition made the police officers in uniform to recite quoted Quranic verses with valour and melody.

Chief Imam of Bompai Jumuat Mosque opposite Doctors clinic Sheikh Yushau Yusuf Abdurrauf graced the occasion with his counterpart from Walalambe Jumuat Mosque Gwani Dr Yushau Abdullahi.

The two chief Imams stressed the importance of Quranic recitation and the abundant reward associated to it .

The recitation will last for two days.
