Today witnessed the launching of National Home Grown School Feeding Programme in Kwara State by Governor AbdulRazaq.
Although, the school feeding programme was originally conceived by the Federal Government for children in primary one to three, the AbdulRazaq led administration extended the programme to capture all primary school children in the state.
The Immediate past administration in Kwara State has been alleged to have played politics with the program being in opposition party then, while the program is an initiative of the ruling party.
