The bill passed through second reading, following debate on the General Principles of the Bill led by House Leader, Barrister Magaji Oba-Abdulkadir
Barrister Oba-Abdulkadir said the bill if passed would be a life changer to rural dwellers particularly in the transportation of farm produce to urban centres
Also, lawmakers in their contributions supported accelerated passage of the Executive Bill towards making rural roads motorable across the state
Clerk of the House, Alhaji Abdul-kareem Olayiwola Ahmed read the bill second time during today’s plenary
Speaker, Engineer Yakubu Danlad-Salihu therefore, referred the bill to House Committee on Works and Transport for further legislative actions
House of Assembly Correspondent, reports that House also received a petition bothering on a land dispute in Esudare Community, Lade Ward Three, Patigi Local Government of the State presented by member representing Kaiama-Kemanji-Wojibe Constituency, Abdullahi Halidu Danbaba
