It is with a heavy heart so agonizing, shocking and still very unbelievable that my father is no more with us in flesh.

I find it very difficult to believe that the cold hand of death had taken my father to the world beyond but people kept flowing into his house to make me come to term with the painful reality that Daddy is gone for ever! the very saddest situation I had ever find myself in this life.

My Father, Hon Jossy Dada is not just a mere Father……He was everything to me, He was not a mere Man He was a very real and very genuine Man..!

Oh death where is thy sting?

In tears I just had to pencil this down, for I know very well that my Father’s memory is a blessed memory, Daddy was an EXCELLENT MAN!

When I first knew My Dad in my infant years that was when I first knew what was called Love and Affection, Oooooooo My Dad is an epitome of True Love and Affection for His beloveds and everyone He finds around Him,…..the very first gift Dad gave to me was true Love and Affection and to the Glory of God Dad never stopped for once, He gave it to me as my godfather till His last day on earth My Dad was my godfather and my hero may His memory be blessed…..!

My Daddy Honourable Jossy Dada was a God sent to me as a Father, He Fathered me rightly, words are not enough to described how he fathered me but heaven and earth knows He Fathered me rightly without any record of him missing that assignment over me for a single second all through his existence!

As a teenager My Father change tactics, adopted measures to ensured that he would not failed on the assignment of being a real Dad and a true Father, of cause with God on his side and commitment to being an excellent father, My Dad over tried his best and scored the highest point any father could get if there should be rating on fatherly role!

Daddy was a GREAT PROFESSIONAL DISCIPLINARIAN….. He would talk to me on how to do things right, why things must be done right, what I stand to gain doing the right things and then give his rules and regulations…. Everytime I break any rules there are severer consequences that would follow with Love!

My Father was a Teacher….He taught me so many good things of life that no one could ever had taught me except him, he taught me what exactly life is,how to grow up, how to be a good person, how to be genuine in every situations, how to be a real man, how to be a strong man,how not to be lazy, how not to be greedy, how to be contented and other numerous lessons that this space would not be able to contain but above all Daddy taught me the FEAR OF GOD!

Right from my Nursery and primary school, Secondary till University Level My Father never allowed my Education And Welfare to record a single setback instead I get my fees and welfare stipends ahead of every resumption date……when I had a little challenges during my undergraduate years my Dad did not only came from kabba to Zaria when he met me at the school gate he cried openly and that was the first time I saw my Beloved Dad cried and He vowed He would do everything possible for me to graduate and truth to His words I Graduated, He was My Angel!

My Father was a passionate giver, yes if it is possible for my Dad to give out His eye He would…..the Only thing my Father can not give in cash and materials things is those He doesn’t have!

Ooooooh death where is thy sting?

My Father is true and honest to his every of words! If my Dad told me A come rain come shine He never for one day changed it He is the most honest person I had ever met….Zero Compromise!

My Father was a selfless Man, I remembered when he was at Ajaokuta Iron and Steel Company as a Chief Technician He always came home every Friday for weekends and would go back every Sunday evening!

My Dad as a Hardworking Farmer…I remembered when Federal Government retrenched His appointment as a federal civil servant was terminated. He immediately started doing subsistence farming just for us to eat without him begging anybody for him to feed us yes I all those days ringed in my brain my father ensured He work out our feeding then and never make us to see how tight it was to had lost his Job, we have a farm along Okene highway and another one at Barnabas area after Deeper Life Church camp ground, Oron area.

In politics my father was a Cicero and master of the game, I remembered when National Republican Convention Party, NRC was formed in the year 1991 he became the first Chairman of the Party in Kabba/Bunu LGA and the Only Chairman of NRC till the Party was defunct, of cause that earned Him the nickname Jossy NRC!

My Father as NRC Chairman won every major contest when He led the party to poll in 1993, Kabba/Bunu Chairmanship Election, Late Hon Philip Olorunipa won that contest and I remembered vividly when late Olorunipa came to meet my Dad in the morning of that contest He said Honourable Chairman we are winning and He won.

He delivered Late Hon Olorunleke for House Of Representatives and Late Baba Sunday Awoniyi for Senate that same year as NRC Party Chairman Kabba Bunu LGA.

His experience and expertise was brilliant and He deal with everyone that had anything to do with him in honesty, open mindedness and open doors, even as a party chair then his room and palour apartment was a political clinic where clinical political decisions where made and results where achieved!

Moving forward in his Political Journey, He teamed up with late Arc Dr. Steven Olorunfemi under UNCP as His PA to ensure Architect got Gubernatorial Ticket of the Party that metamorphased into PDP in 1998 and they got that Ticket!

My Father in PDP…….I leave the stories for it’s on the street and everyone knows He gave His best as a Dogged and Very Rugged in the field of Politics towards the overall interest of His People as Kabba Bunu LGA Chairman and a Special Adviser to Kogi State Government.

On Community Development My Father played his part actively in accordance to His means and ability, He lived to see Kabba and Okun land developed given every opportunity He raised His voice for that.
My Dad established the Ad-Akoja Bakery and Confectioneries with the Ad-Akoja Nylon Company as a means to develop the medium scale enterprise of Kabba and environs to create employment opportunities.

My Father was friend to all, irrespective of Tribe, Clan, Age, Gender or Believe, My Dad never sow any seed of hatred in me against anybody, I never see him speak evil of anybody even when He disagreed with some person’s conduct, very jovial and always crack jokes and even play pranks on anyone around Him…He knows when and where to fight and He knows when a fight must stop, My father forgives easily may God Forgive Him all His shortcomings!

It pleases my heart to thank God for I am convinced God knowingly called my Dad to His Glory on that day for He lived a very Fulfilled Life and every testimony given about Him is an affirmation He had find peace with Jesus and He would see God.

I returned all the Glory of His life unto God Almighty for a life He excellently spent, He believed in God for everything!

May My Dad Memory be blessed forever till we meet to part no more through Christ our Lord Amen.
