Cleric Admonished Hajj Returnees To Stick To Lessons Of Hajj

Returnees from the holy land of Makkah have been admonished to keep praticing all lessons learnt during their hajj exercise in Makkah.


Ustadh Sulaiman Dagbo gave this admonition today at a prayer held at Sobi Alagbado, Ilorin in honour of Alhaji Abdul Kadir Olamilekan.

Ustadh Dagbo said Saudi Arabia is not a tourism centre for Muslims, rather it’s a place where the obligation of Isamic religion would be completed. Hence, being over joyous and unnecessary celebrations should be avoided.

According to the Cleric, all returnings are back home with no sins as explained by the prophet as far as their Hajj rite is performed in line with the dictate of Islam. He then urged them not to spoil their hajj rewards through the acts of “Shirk” and all kinds of ungodly behaviours. As they were ought not to back to their previous Sins.

He also encouraged family, friends and well wishers of the returnings from Makkah for hajj exercise to only ask them for prayer instead of requesting for worldly materials or items that will difficult for them to fulfill, because the journey to the holy land of Makkah is purposely to worship not for the business transaction.

On the part of those in position of authority, Ustadh Dagbo said there many lessons Nigeria leaders should learn from Saudi Arabian government which include Justice, equality before the law and spirit of fairness and mercy upon their people. Hence, all hands should be on deck to make life easy for masses in the country.

He later prayed for the country to overcome all challenges that facing it as a nation.
