A Professor of Pragmatics and Applied Linguistics and former Director of the Centre for Peace and Strategic Studies of the University of Ilorin, Professor Mahfouz Adedimeji, has been appointed as the pioneer Vice Chancellor of newly accredited Ahman Pategi University.
The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Council of Ahman Pategi University, Hon Aliyu Ahman Pategi, who presented letter of appointment to Prof. Adedimeji on Tuesday at the University’s Permanent Site charged him to take the institution to greater height.
Adedimeji until his appointment is one of the most reverred academic dons at the University of Ilorin.
He holds a B.A. (Honours), M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in English Language from the University of Ilorin.
Maxilensnews gathered that with Prof. Adedimeji’s appointment as the Pioneer Vice Chancellor of Ahman Pategi University, the institution is fully ready to commence 2020/2021 academic session in April.
