ANCOPSS Will Work Together To Actualize Government’s Vision–UU Abdullahi

All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary School, ANCOPSS, has expressed its determination and commitment to complement government efforts at restoring the lost glory of education.

President of the ANCOPSS, Kwara State Chapter, Comrade Umar Usman Abdullahi gave the assurance during the State Executive Meeting held in Kaiama, Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Comrade UU Abdullahi noted that his leadership has been working with the state government and all relevant agencies to achieve the targeted objectives.

The Kwara State ANCOPSS President advised all his colleagues and teachers to work together hand in hand to move education to a greater height.

He commended ANCOPSS Kaiama branch for successful hosting of the meeting and their wonderful reception.

Earlier in an address of welcome, the ANCOPSS Chairman, Kaiama Local Government, Mr Umar Halidu Gunu briefed the meeting on their activities and pledged to continue to work with state body to achieve greater result.

In a goodwill message, Chairman of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, represented by the Permanent Member Two, Alhaji Suleiman Sidiq Seko commended members of the ANCOPSS for their steadfastness and assured them of government commitment to their welfare.

He also enjoined the principals to strictly adhere to the approved payments by the government and do away with unnecessary collection of fees from students.

Also, Education Secretary, Kaiama Local Government Area, Mallam Muhammed AbdulKareem advised the principals to be committed and dedicated to their duty.

He also implored them to guide their utterances and be wary of their activities most especially as politics is now at its peak.

Similarly, one of the veterans at the meeting, Mallam Ahmed Yakub Ango charged the principals on punctuality, discipline and dedication to work.

He also advised them to be liberal in their leadership style for them to succeed in their place of work.

Correspondent Abdullah Ahmed reports that members of the ANCOPSS paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Kaiama, Alhaji Muazu Shehu Omar Bagidi Kiyaru the fourth where they received the royal blessing.
