An appeal has gone to the Kwara State government to assist in rehabilitation and overhauling of Ansarul Islam secondary schools, Ogidi llorin.
Hajiya Nimota Ibrahim made the appeal while taking newsmen round to inspect the level of damages caused by recent rain storm to the school.
Hajiya Nimota Ibrahim who is also the Chairperson, Central Working Committee for the 50th Anniversary of Ansarul Islam Secondary School emphasised that government intervention is needed as virtually all property of the college have been destroyed.
While noting that physical structure of the college had been in a state of disrepair for years, she enjoined well to do individuals and philanthropists to assist towards making the school environment conducive for learning as students resume after the long Covid-19 vacation.
