The Executives and members of the Ode-Giwa Development Association, both home and in the diaspora have extended their heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; the Executive Governor of Kwara State over what they consider a great honor and privilege by the appointment of one of their illustrious sons, Mallam Abdullateef Gidado Alakawa as a cabinet member of the state.
National Secretary of Ode-Giwa Development Association in Onire District of Asa Local Government Area of the state, Dr. Abdullahi Ayinla Olokooba in a statement commending the Governor for finding Alakawa worthy to be his cabinet member expressed confidence that the Commissioner-designate would justify the confidence His Excellency reposed in him giving his track record of excellence in his previous post.
Dr. Olokooba equally commends the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Traditional Council of Chiefs adding that his reign has brought tremendous development across the length and breadth of the Emirate.
He, therefore, gave an assurance that the entire Association and indeed Asa Local Government would pay back this kind and rare gesture in the same coin when the time comes in 2023 by voting massively for Gov AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s second term in office.
