An aspirant for the position of Vice Chairperson in the July Tenth, Nigeria Union of Journalist, NUJ, Kwara State election, Binta Abubakar – Mora has promised to unite all members of the association and create harmonious environment if elected.
Binta Abubakar – Mora made the promise today when the Binta Abubakar – Mora Resurgent Team took campaign to Radio Kwara at GRA Ilorin.
The Vice Chairperson candidate who explained that her story would not complete without the mentioning of Radio Kwara as she begins her journey in broadcasting from the station described the visit as homecoming and solicit the chapel’s support.
In a remarks, the NUJ Treasurer, Radio Kwara Chapel, Mallam AbdulHamid Alaaye who maintained that Binta Abubakar Mora need no campaign in the station as Radio Kwara would never compromise to give her parental care, however maintained that she should reciprocate the gesture by giving their candidates Abdullateef Ahmed vying for Chairmanship position and Yinka Alaya as Assistant Secretary in the forthcoming election.
Alaye maintained that any action short of that is a breach of contract.
Also, the Chairman Radio Kwara Chapel, Mr. Bashir Jimoh who buttressed the submissions of the elders in the chapel affirmed that Binta Abubakar Mora will have the chapel’s total support hence the need for her to reciprocate.
