The Nigerian Senate has today passed into law the bill for an Act to Establish the Federal University of Technology Offa, Kwara State into law.
This was part of the resolutions reached at today’s plenary as presided over by the Deputy Senate President, His Excellency Senator Ovie Omo Age.
With this development, the popular Federal Polytechnic, Offa would be upgraded from a Diploma Awarding Institution to a Degree Awarding institution.
The bill which was sponsored by the Senator Representing Kwara South Senatorial District, Senator Oyelola Ashiru was read the third time and passed into law.
