Christian Women Urged to Train Children in Godly Way

Christian women have been urged to train their Children in the way of the Lord so that they will not depart from it when they grow old.

President, Mother’s Union, Women’s, Girls and Ladies Guild of Igbomina Anglican Communion, Mrs Josephine Adekola made the call during the Second conference of the Union at Saint Peter’s Anglican Church, Arandun, Irepodun Local Government of Kwara State.

Mrs Adekola said mothers should be determined to make sure that their families were not consumed by worldly challenges that would prevent them from making heaven.

Launching her book titled ‘As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord’ Mrs Adekola stressed that reading the book would enable a godly home globally.

In a remark, Bishop, Igbomina Anglican Diocese, Right Reverend Emmanuel Adekola advised those who have backslided to retrace their steps unto Jesus, the author and finisher of faith.

Bishop Adekola who decried neglect of family structure in the country which contributed to collapse of the nation called for its resuscitation.

The Bishop of Igbomina Anglican Communion called on those in authorities to make Nigerian youth gainfully employed to show that they are leaders as their population is overwhelming.

Correspodent Lanre Omotoso reports that highlight of the conference included goodwill messages from Dioceses of Omu-Aran, Ekiti- Kwara, Offa and Igbomina West.
