CHRISTIANS URGED TO REFLECT ON ESSENCE OF DEATH OF JESUS CHRIST AS THEY CELEBRATE EASTER

As Christians around the world celebrate Easter, they have been urged not to be carried away with merry making but to reflect on their way of life.

Pastor Ademola Olawuyi of The Maker’s Porch Ministries International, made the appeal in an exclusive interview with correspondent Lanre Omotoso in Ilorin.

Pastor Olawuyi said Easter period which is about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ  should be marked by Christians with sober by reflecting if truly they are still in faith.

While noting that signs of end-time which included famine, war, diseases, false prophets among others have began to manifest, the clergyman stressed the need for Christians to be heavenly conscious.

Pastor Olawuyi opined that it is appointed unto man to die once after which come the judgement, explained that joy of every Christian is for their names to be written in the book of life.

The Pastor in charge of The Maker’s Porch Ministries International, Ilorin, emphasized that Christians must desist from sinful acts such as idolatory, unbelieve, unholiness, adultery and fornication for them to inherit kingdom of God.
