DEATH OF KWARA SA RELIGION (CHRISTIAN) A GREAT LOSS, SPEAKER DANLADI

The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has described the death of the Special Assistant on Religion (Christian) to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Reverend Dr. Samuel Olusegun Adedayo as a great loss.

Engr Danladi-Salihu in the condolence message specifically commiserated with Kwara State Governor, the family of Dr. Adedayo, the Christian Community and the entire people of the state saying that “news of the demise of the late SA to the Governor is a bitter pill to swallow”

“I know Reverend Dr. Samuel Olusegun Adedayo as an upright and devout Christian who has proven to be an illustrious son of the soil and an asset to the government of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq especially in his capacity as SA Religion (Christian), he has contributed tremendously to the stability, peaceful coexistence and harmonious living of both Christians and Muslims in the state, we will surely miss him”.

“On behalf of my colleagues at the Kwara State House of Assembly the Ninth Legislature, wish to send my condolences to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the State Government, the family of the deceased, Christian community, and the entire people of the state over this unfortunate development which no one except the God Almighty has control over, we are consoled by the good things people are saying about Dr. Adedayo even in death because he lived a good life”.

“I pray God to comfort his family and grant the departed eternal rest”, the Speaker concluded.
