Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Muhammed has emerged as the new Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Dutse.
The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of Federal University Dutse, Alhaji Ahmed Alti who made the announcement at a news conference in Dutse, said thirty-five professors applied for the position and three best candidates emerged from which council chose Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Muhammed as the new VC.
The tenure of the incumbent VC, Professor Fatima Batul Muktar expires on February 2021, Maxilensnews gathered.
Prof. Abdulkarim who is currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Services of the University is a distinguished professor of Biotechnology
